Travelers can be a tough crowd to find gifts for. They often adopt a minimalist mindset and desire experiences over possessions. Despite this fact, there are still practical gifts that fit the needs of the travel obsessed.
Every year I’m asked what I want for Christmas or my birthday and my answer is always the same: something travel-related. If you have a loved one in your life who loves travel, you may also be wondering what to get them for the upcoming holidays. Here is my gift guide of items that any traveler would enjoy!
1. JetSetter Scratch-Off United States Map
Know a traveler with a goal of visiting all 50 states? This scratch-off map is a fun and colorful way for them to proudly display their progress!
2. Southwest Airlines Gift Cards
Airfare can be quite expensive these days and one of the quickest ways for a traveler to break their budget. In recent years, it’s become a staple for me to ask for gift cards from my favorite domestic airline, Southwest. Seriously, any amount will be greatly appreciated by your travel addicted loved one!

3. Packing Cubes
Let’s be honest, a suitcase can become a disorganized mess in no time at all. Thank goodness packing cubes are a life, space, and time saver! Organize any bag into individual compartments — one for shirts, pants, toiletries, and underwear. Packing cubes are a must for the messy and unorganized traveler!
4. GoPro Hero 6
GoPro has become the camera of choice for most travelers. Compact, waterproof, and built-in Wi-Fi + Bluetooth technology, makes it easy to see why GoPro is the leader in documenting your adventures. Check out the latest model, the GoPro Hero 6!
5. Away Luggage
The Away Carry-On is a one of the least expensive suitcases with a built-in battery on the market right now. Besides the extremely convenient battery, features include a nylon laundry bag, 360-degree double-wheel spinners, and a TSA-approved lock.
6. Audible Subscription
When planning for my two-month road trip around America, a friend had suggested audio books to get through my long drives. I did not heed that advice at the time, but I sure wish I had.
